Hi, wondering how others are handling gifts for Student Organizations within their University. Do you have gift accounts set up for the Student Orgs, do you post them to the particular College they fall under and let the College take care of them or do you say that funds to a Student Org are not a gift? Our student orgs do not fall under our 501c3 so we are struggling with how to handle. For years we have posted any funds for them to the particular College they are associated with and then the College took care of their need. Thank you!

I am also interested in how other schools do this, we have the capability to use our Slate and Banner system, however our process in the past has been to have students create their own organization bank accounts which has made me fall to the floor hearing it.
