    I pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I'm double checking. Can a gift be required to enter a raffle?

    Well, you can require a gift - but then the gift won't be tax-deductible or countable. For that to happen, you must clearly state that no gift or pledge is required to enter.

    As always, State gaming laws will apply.
