    Hi there,

    Third Party processing/work place giving has always been a grey area for us. We are using Chariot now and our Benevity is linked, so for a gift I can see that Benevity is the source, the disbursing entity is American Online Giving Foundation, it's coming from a company, and we also have the employee who is listed as the donor....how do I enter this gift when I can only Hard credit one and then I can't soft credit a soft credit?

    American Online Giving is the legal donor (a DAF). You can give soft credit to the original employee. If a corporate matching gift was included, you can give the company soft credit for that. Typically, the original employee also receives soft credit for that match.
