Hello all,
I'm working on updating my organization's public recognition policy. I am specifically asking about organizational partners (foundations/ corporate/ government); we have separate processes for recognizing individual donors. For context, we have around 200 partners a year in 5 tiers.
One thing I am wondering about is how to recognize multi-year partners in the Annual Report and on our website. Is it recommended to include multiyear partners in annual recognition materials only in the year funds are awarded, or every year?
Pros to including them every year
-- more recognition for most loyal partners is good
-- avoids possible confusion from fundraisers/ leadership around donors being "missing"
Cons to including them
-- more work for Development Operations team to prepare list
-- more work for fundraisers to review list for accuracy
