  • 1.  Tracking named gifts

    Hello! I am curious to learn how everyone is tracking named gifts that have a start and end date. We use RENXT and we are not sure where to store this information in the database to be able to report on that easily.

    Perhaps you can use the beginning and end dates at the Fund level - assuming that the naming is associated with a specific fund the donor has given to.

    Alternatively, you could create a "campaign" for the naming, as campaigns also have beginning and ending dates.

    Just thoughts.  I am NOT an RE aficionado!

    We are looking into a third party product called giftmap. We also track start and end dates through actions, since it allows us to track gifts regardless of the associated fund or campaign. We are in an older version of RE, so not sure if NXT has better tracking tools.
