Hi Joe!
We typically first determine which pieces of information are actionable and which should be reviewed in the aggregate. We only import the actionable pieces and try to put them where it makes the most sense. Major/planned/area of interest in prospect, bio info in the appropriate field, etc. We do our best to avoid free text fields as they are too cumbersome and not informative enough to warrant recording. Our donor relations team reviews those to determine if they need to reach out. We used to have a lot of free text fields and import all of that information into RE as attributes but found that while it was interesting, it was not actionable. Now, we ask specific questions to get the responses we need and must have a plan to use the information before it is imported. Hope this helps!

Subject: Survey Responses in RE/NXT
Where do your organizations typically store survey responses? I know RE and other Blackbaud products have a survey functionality but we use an outside vendor. We would like to store the survey questions and responses in RE. I look forward to your responses. Thank you.
