As we've built out our major gifts team in the last few years, we've transitioned to a shared gift credit system where gift officers can be Lead or Assist or gifts depending on their role (ex. Lead makes the direct ask, Assist might be the subject matter expert). We are diving deeper into how we are tracking this to help us produce better data on activity - wondering if anyone else has experience with best practices for recording shared gift credit? We use NXT and I thought one solution might be the amount of the gift credit we assign to each gift officer type on the gift, but wanted to see what others were doing. Thank you for your input! :)
