Regarding relinquished CGAs, Page 278 of the CASE Global Reporting Standards states as follows: "...it is possible for the donor to make an additional" gift either by revoking their interest in the remainder or through premature death."
When this occurs, is it necessary to capture in the CRM the value of the "additional" gift? If it does need to be recorded how are others doing that?
We do provide a receipt to the donor that contains the charitable value when they relinquish a CGA.
