    Please forgive me if this is covered in the archives. I promise I did search :-)
    For Facebook donations, when you receive the donor information, are you posting the hard credit in CRM to the donor or to Facebook? A donor complained that her EOY giving statement was missing her Facebook donation.

    It depends. If FB is paying your org directly, then yes, the donor gets the hard credit. If not, then the donation is going through Network For Good's DAF, and the donor only gets soft credit. 

    Another issue that might be popping up here is regarding payout. Both FB and the NFG DAF have a relatively long wait for payout: biweekly, or a month and a half after the end of the month in which the payment was made. If you're only recording the gift when you receive the payout, it's possible that you did not record this donor's gift prior to EOY, irrespective of whether it was a soft or hard credit. Or if your query for your EOY giving statement was cash-basis, you'd have a similar issue.
