A father has asked upon his death that a CRUT be created. The son has passed away and in the son's will we received part of of the disbursement. Would the donor be the father or the son? This gift was not previously recorded.  

The son was the sole beneficiary and it was the son that directed the gift to us.

I believe I have found the answer - the father/father's estate is the donor
