    Good morning:

     

    We are drafting a gift agreement for a blended gift (a gift from the donor during their lifetime, plus an estate/planned gift).  Any special language considerations when drafting such an agreement?

    You will want the agreement to differentiate between the irrevocable and revocable components. The donor will need to understand that you will need to record two different transactions within the CRM and receive reminders for only the irrevocable piece.
