After 33 years at the University of Alaska  (25 in higher education fundraising) I will be retiring.  It's been my pleasure to be a part of this community for the last 20 years.  I cannot describe in words how valuable this group has been as a resource. While there are a great many individuals who possess vast amounts of knowledge, I will especially thank John Taylor for his reams of good advice.  I probably would've left the profession if it were not for him. 

I will continue to support higher education and social impact fundraising 

(side rant. I detest the term "nonprofit" as a description of what we do - "Hi,  I'm Dave, a married joint filer".   Nowhere else is a tax status used as a blanket description. ) 

by way of volunteerism, board service, and also my new venture, Fractional Advancement LLC.   I won't self-promote on this platform, however, feel free to check out my website or my social media links.
