  • 1.  Talisma as an advancement database?

    Hi,

    I've been contacted by a former colleague asking about Talisma as a database for supporting advancement.  He just started a job at a community college foundation that is using that and was asking my opinion.

    Is anyone using that for full advancement system functionality?  In looking at their website, I see that they're owned by Anthology and don't see the full suite of functionality in an advancement system (e.g. gift processing).

    Interested in anyone's experience with Talisma and if/how they use it and it's capabilities.

    Tom, I think the actual product your colleauge has is Talisma Fundraising, not Talisma CRM. You can see some features and video demos here - or send them on to your colleague:

    I don't believe that the product continues to be sold, I think a sunset date has been set for it already, but I'm not certain of that.

    Mercer University is currently using Talisma Fundraising (TFR) which is owned by CampusManagement, now Anthology.

    I am happy to further expound on our utilization and experience.
