Hi Amanda, we have a similar process with our seniors at UNE for a class gift. We also have a Student Philanthropy Association club (SPA). We suspended our phonathon program this year, but in year's past the club was made up of mostly phonathon students. The club makes solicitations of current students and funds an annual scholarship. During our Giving Day, they table at various locations asking for donations from students, staff, and faculty. With all that being said, the Advancement staff does not solicit students. It's done by peer students in the SPA club.

Good morning!
Do any institutions have a policy regarding soliciting current students? We have always run a senior gift program where we hold events for graduating seniors and educate them about philanthropy and of course we receive donations. But, are we allowed to email current students to fundraise? Is this a question specific to our registrar or is there a blanket rule on this?
