    Good morning,

    I am currently seeking examples of receipt templates for in-kind donations provided to the university. These donations are specifically for items that will be used in events such as auctions or raffles, with the intent to generate proceeds to support our programs. Any samples you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you looked at IRS Publication 1771?

    These receipts look the same as cash receipts except they describe the item without a value. They should also reflect how they will be used:

    Thank you for your gift a new Samsung 47" smart TV to be sold at our charity auction."

    But make sure you do not issue receipts for non deductible gifts like services and use of property like a vacation home for one week.
