I just looked through the archives for info on this and found a few posts from awhile back but was curious if there are any issues/concerns/legalities around creating records and relationships for non-student minors in our database. An example being a alum has a child and let's us know name/bdate/gender would we go ahead and create a record and relationship for that child. From what I found, ferpa alert would be necessary for any student, but not non-student records.
We are consulting general consul as well, but curious of experiences here.
