I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for platforms which facilitate the streamlined sending of electronic pledge reminders?
We currently send the majority of our reminders via snail mail, but do occasionally send some via email through the use of fillable PDF forms. For our snail mail reminders, we obviously utilize mail merges and our templates have numerous conditional merge fields. However, the generation of fillable PDFs is much more of a manual, time-consuming process.
We would love to be able to integrate our two approaches (i.e. send electronic reminder "letters" via email, have them be donor-specific and able to pull conditional information, while still benefitting from some of the benefits of a mail merge, including the ability to generate batches of letters/emails in bulk).
We have looked into some electronic platforms, but were either unable to tailor the messages to the degree we would like and/or dissatisfied with the appearance of the message template.
Has anyone else successfully implemented something like this? Any insight is greatly appreciated!
