There is a debate on having the donor fill out a pledge form using DocuSign or paper with all of the administrative items included - 1.) gift designation, 2.) commitment type (one time or multi year), 3.) a breakdown of how they wish to pay (annual, semi annual, quarterly, monthly and the date to start), 4.) type of payment, if their employer will match the gift, and 5.) if it is a tribute gift.
The debate is should the donor fill out the pledge form with all of the information listed above or should the team have a Memorandum of Understanding for the donor to sign without the administrative information included, meaning someone will contact them for that information later.
