Good afternoon,
I am researching how many institutions have placed morality clauses within their gift agreements. Meaning that if the donor violates the morality clause within a gift agreement, their name could be revoked from the title of the fund. In most states, a fund title does not comply with an amendment change to the agreement under UPMIFA. So, if you have a donor who has done something scandalous, you are stuck with the fund name. Sometimes, the named award/fund can't be awarded because people do not want to receive scholarships to honor a person involved in a scandal.
