Nothing much has changed from last year, other than the IRS benefit limits.

As fewer individuals itemize (between 1 in 10 and 1 in 12), and more organizations print received or processed dates on receipts, these yearly reminders have become less important. Still, I often get asked for a copy, so I keep posting them.

I will note that the standard deduction is increasing again in 2026, which could further decrease the number of itemizers. Additionally, starting next year, you won't be able to deduct your itemized charitable donations unless they exceed .5% of your AGI. However, for the 2026 tax return (not this year's), a non-itemizing donor can claim up to $1,000 in charitable donations with proper documentation.

Anyway, I have attached my annual summary for your reading pleasure!
