  • 1.  IRS Language - Tax receipt

    All,

     

    I am looking for IRS language regarding Charity fraud and the penalties for an organization who issues a tax receipt for more money that what the organization actual received. 

     

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I hope your attorney can help with the legal ramifications of issuing a fraudulent tax document. That's a Federal offense.

    However, the attached is useful regarding issuing a receipt that overstates the deduction amount.
