    Hello hive,

     

    Happy New Year. I am no longer using Raiser's Edge/NXT, so Deceased Finder is not an option. Are there any other, hopefully better, options to identify deceased constituents?

    Most address append providers typically offer this service. Assuming you routinely have a vendor provide you with updated or missing addresses, you should ask them what their additional fees are for this feature.

    Hi Denise!

    We subscribe to Obituary Data through PBI Services to receive notifications when our institution is mentioned in an obituary. We've found this service to be very beneficial and worthwhile. If helpful, our annual subscription is about $1,500.

    We have Google alerts set up with the different variations of our name. There are two of us in the office that get these alerts - sometimes one of us will get an alert that the other doesn't.

    We also use Obituary Data through PBI. It's been very helpful and the cost is good for our smaller organization. We get weekly alerts based on our search words.
