    A group of us have been invited to tackle key unsolved data analytics challenges in the Healthcare Fundraising sector.  But before doing anything, we'd like to make sure that we tackle the most important unsolved problem(s). What we're hearing is that more needs to be done to automate the connection between Patient (e.g., EPIC) and CRM (e.g. NXT, SalesForce, etc.) systems in a HIPA compliant manner, and then use analytics that are not only HIPA compliant but also ethical and in line with what patients expect.  It's our understanding that the goal of doing this is to automate the daily segmentation of patients based on experiences, expressed and inferred interests, and potential wealth capacity SO THAT the right appeals and approaches can be made, or not.
