Hello all,

My team received an email from Giving Force Foundation, and we're hoping to hear others' experiences.

Does anyone have experience with Giving Force Foundation and their GF-causes portal for employee giving out of the UK?  How have the international transfers worked for those who use bank transfers?

We consistently receive wire transfers from GivingForce Foundation and have access to the GF Causes portal.  We had to get verified with them initially before we could accept payments from them.  While GivingForce is based in the UK, it does appear that our payments are initiated from the US via Wise and we haven't experienced any issues or foreign transaction fees.

The Causes portal can get a bit wonky:

1. It doesn't make it obvious which report in the Payment History is associated with that wire, but given that payouts appear to occur monthly, that's not really all that difficult to reconcile.
2. The vast majority of the donations we receive are anonymous.
3. On one occasion, the payout report was missing from our account and we had to reach out to their support team to get it added.

Overall, given all of the third party platforms out there, this is definitely one of the easier ones we manage.  Let me know if you have any other specific questions that I can help answer!
