Hello all,
I hope everyone is surviving the end of year flurry of last minute, urgent, VIP requests! I am second guessing myself and am looking to you all for reassurance. I have been asked to produce a gift in kind acknowledgment for art that has been donated. I know I can only acknowledge that we received the piece and should not provide any value. I am being asked to include the below language in the acknowledgment:
(i) effectively states whether any goods or services were provided in the
exchange (ii) states the donation is an unconditional gift
(iii) recites no consideration received in the exchange
(iv) contains a provision stating that the deed is the entire agreement of the parties.
I've never been asked for the above before. Is this information I can include in the letter?
Thank you infinite hive-mind of wisdom!
Happy Holidays everyone,
Molly
