How does your organization handle gift designation requests from development officers?
Specifically:
- If a gift has a clear donor designation, will you ever change it based on a development officer's request?
- If a gift has no clear designation, do you accept the development officer's direction, require donor documentation or confirmation, or default the gift to an undesignated fund?
