  • 1.  Gift backup in NXT

    Hi friends! We currently save each batch on a shred drive and upload each backup documentation in NXT individually for each gift. This is very time consuming... 

    We are hoping to automate this process and I am curious to know how dos your organization manage gift backup who use NXT, or if anyone is using any automation tool.

    Our organization is mostly remote, so we have our main office open/scan/deposit checks.  We keep all the scans in SharePoint, and I enter any pertinent details those letters may have (donor comments, restrictions, actions required etc) as a "Donation Note" on the notes tab and any pertinent actions in the action tab.

     

    I do not review every scan for these details – our gift processing team will add a gift attribute (i.e. "Letter for notes tab" "donor request" "report required") and I run a daily list of gifts and review these items tagged.
