  • 1.  Experiences with lockbox vendors (smaller shops)

    Posted 11-04-2022 03:53 PM
Hello, we have been running into consistent problems with mail arriving (late or never) to our office in Baltimore. This problem has persisted through two offices, and Baltimore has some of the worst USPS performance in the country, so we are looking into a lockbox service located outside of Baltimore for all of our mail (Development and org-wide).

I was curious if any smaller shops have used and would be willing to discuss their experiences with lockbox vendors. We don't have a high volume of checks, and I see that a lot of the lockbox discussion on here has noted its usefulness for high-volume appeals and similar quantities, so I was curious to hear some experiences with organizations handling lower volumes of mail/checks.

    Dear Adam,

We have had a good experience with Capital One. However, their lockbox is in Baltimore. Happy to discuss more offline if I can answer any questions.
    Thank you!
