Hi Marta,
We recently began using NXT receipting. We've used for sending receipts for tickets relating to a fundraising event. We use more than one template. Overall it works well, and is very quick but there are a few issues we have with it. First, you cannot get a copy of the emailed receipt. The workaround is to go into the constituent record, change their email to your email (or whoever is tasked with this) and resend the email. Then go back in and change the email back. Not great. Secondly, you cannot customize the PDF version at all and it's so generic it's embarrassing to use. We keep the receipts as part of our gift documentation; if you don't do that, it won't be an issue. The email designer is a bit clunky; you can't copy and save a template with another name. So if you customize in any way (we have our logo and have specific brand colors we use), you have to start from scratch with each new template.
We will use NXT receipting for recurring gifts with the new Mastercard requirements, once we get that process in place.
I'm happy to share our templates with you if you want to see them.

Subject: E-receipting in NXT
Hello! I am curios to know how is everyone handling receipting especially electronically and in NXT:
- How many templates to you have or do you use only one templates for each receipt?
- What do you do with gifts without an email?
Would love to see some samples if possible and chat with those of you who NXT for this process.
Many thanks,
Marta
