    Good afternoon,


    Next week's Hot Topics will be on DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) funds and will focus on the following topics: 

    • The 1964 Civil Rights Act, Title IX, and other federal guidelines 

    • Creation of DEI fund 

    • Preference language regarding DEI

    • Risks and assessments 

    • Measurement and tracking of DEI funds 

    • Scholarship "pooling" 

    • Preparing your frontline fundraisers to have discussions around the creation of DEI funds 

    • DEI fundraising efforts 


    To prepare for this call, we ask for your assistance in completing the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Fund/Gift Agreement Survey. There is an option to retain anonymity, but I will be sharing these responses at the Hot Topics call on June 3, 2022, at 2PM. Please complete the survey by May 31, 2022.
