    What makes you want to leave RE?

    Roger, recent clients of ours who have evaluated and/or chosen to leave RE  have been motivated by some mix of the following:
    1. Better integration between digital marketing, website, fundraising tools, event management systems, and the donor database
    2. More web-facing and constituent-facing tools and capabilities
    3. More robust workflow automation that for moves management tracking, task tracking, and automated communications and notifications
    4. Better, more flexible, faster querying and data-discovery interface and capabilities
    5. Robust and better-documented API to enable extensibility
    6. Better relationship with the vendor, from account services to customer support to customization and consulting
    7. Unhappiness with RE over security breach, fees, and price hikes, coupled with loss of functionality and stalled progress on RE7-NXT product development
    Virtuous has emerged as one of the leading replacement candidates, but we haven't seen organizations clamoring for Virtuous so much as reaching their breaking point with RE and seeking alternatives, of which Virtuous may be a worthwhile one to consider. (To be clear, I'm not affiliated with either company in any way, this is my view as an independent consultant).
