I've searched the archives but cannot find a specific answer. We have corporations which enter into sponsorship agreements with our Stop Obesity Alliance. The alliance has created a higher level of donation this year known as Thought Leadership Partner. Previously, corporate sponsors were non-voting members of the alliance steering committee. This year, the higher level donation enables them to become a voting member of the steering committee. Is this concerning? I've looked around and it seems like it could violate IRS regulations. Any feedback is appreciated.
