Hello everyone,
I'm hoping to get some insight on how you're handling valuation for bulk food gifts-in-kind.
We are starting to see an increase in these types of donations, and determining fair market value at the item level is becoming difficult to support consistently, especially when documentation is limited or the donation is mixed/bulk in nature.
I'm curious how others are approaching this and my question would be:
Is it possible to create a standardized per-pound valuation for internal reporting?
