@Jeff Baynham. This sounds like DAFs for scholarships. I don't know how your organization would even have any idea on who the original donors were. I could imagine this making recognition difficult if not completely impossible.
I've never heard of them before just now, but can't believe they will be the only organization to try something like this.

Is anyone familiar with Bold.org? They are a charitable organization that sets up scholarships.
We have a donor who would rather establish their scholarship with this organization than with us "so they can retain sole discretion to select the winners". From reading the "How it works" page, Bold.org narrows a list of applications to a finalist and the donor gets to help select the recipient(s).
Anyone have any experience with this org?
