Hi there!
I'm getting a couple questions regarding auctions that I could use some help answering. Any help would be appreciated.
The auction host wants to know:
I am requesting a "receipt" that I give to the auction buyer that shows they purchased the item at our fundraiser/charitable event. Providing a receipt is standard at these types of events. Can Gift Operations or someone provide me this general blank receipt that we can provide buyers at our auction event? Then I can complete the blank info on the receipt before providing to the Buyer.
My follow-up question would be providing a receipt to those that donate items to the auction to use for fundraising at the event. Would this be the same receipt as a buyer would receive or does the Donator receive a different receipt for their donation?
