Inspired by another member's post about gift processing oversight. In Kindsight's Ascend product there is the batch approval option for a gift processing manager or supervisor to approve batches. I am curious to know the following:
- Are schools using the approval process to route batches to a gift processing manager / supervisor?
- If so, is it every batch, do you foresee slowdowns or this process as a bottleneck during times of peak processing?
- Has anyone instituted a robust approval process to combat the slowdown if resources or time is of the issue to process gifts?
- We are thinking of using roles within Ascend to route any new staff who are training into the approval process
- I am also curious if logic can be built into the approval process of trends currently identified in the QA process to automatically route known entry rules for review? Is this even available?
