Hi Eric,
UNG uses both programs and although it was setup when I arrived three years ago I would be happy to talk to you about the systems as you bring BBFPM online. Because Blackbaud's FPM is a stand-a-lone product it does require some work on creating the queries and exports that make up the "feed" to the platform. At some point I hope that API's will be enabled to feed the data back and forth between the two systems, but for now any changes to the export(s) can "break" the feed so thinking it through up front is very wise!
You should not need IT support since the files are delivered to Blackbaud's SFTP site securely which they pickup on whatever schedule you want. We switched last year from weekly to nightly and that has been huge for us.
Happy to answer any questions on how we run both NXT and FPM and keep them reconciled.
Best,
Michael

Subject: Any RENXT and BBFPM users?
Hi Fellow Listers,
If anyone is using RENXT and BBFPM, could you share your experience in the technical implementation of BBFPM? Was it simply plug and play or were there some gotchas or surprises in getting it to work within your NXT environment? We're told it doesn't need any additional IT support to turn it on and just trying to be sure, thanks!
