Hi all, 

Any newsrooms here and willing to connect? We're a new nonprofit and I'm wondering what systems others are using. So many nonprofit newsrooms are using BlueLena/ActiveCampaign as a CRM -- it's great on the newsroom side for tracking editorial engagement, etc., but missing lots of essentials on the CRM side including reporting, moves management/action tracking, things fundraisers care about. Can't believe I miss Raiser's Edge and DonorPerfect. 

If anyone with awareness of current CRMs, newsroom or not, would care to share which one you would pick if you could start fresh today, please let me know.

RE and DonorPerfect are still pretty substantial players in the CRM market, and could be worth your consideration. ActiveCampaign + Salesforce is another common setup for AC users, but none of the nonprofit-serving CRMs are natively integrated with AC. Building a sync is possible, in which case I'd point you to Virtuous, Arreva, and Charity Engine as potential fits on the CRM side. You could also consider using these CRMs for both your marketing/outbound needs and your CRM, as they are all-in-one systems. If your CRM needs are less extensive and you're looking for a lower-cost solution, Bloomerang and Little Green Light are good options to consider.
