    In your annual receipts, for recurring donors or donors who have given more than one gift, do you name each individual gift with gift amount and date, or do you just name the total amount?

    I would not issue annual receipts for anything other than recurring gifts. For those, since they are all going to the same fund, I list a single total amount.

    If you feel compelled to issue an annual receipt reflecting all gifts, you should list them individually, confirming the fund(s) to which each gift was given. GIKs (including securities) should also be listed individually, but only with a description.
