Hi Leah,
One additional consideration. If one of your reason's for doing a survey is to assess attitudes for a possible campaign, you can add campaign consultants to the mix for conducting it since a survey of constituents is often a deliverable in feasibility studies. In addition, if you are, in fact, considering a campaign, you might want to hold off so they wouldn't get two survey's in close proximity to each other. Campaign consultants would use their survey for feasibility data modeling so you wouldn't want to thwart response rates.
