Hello!, Anyone out there using Salesforce to manage workflows on a moves management system? E.g., setting up common tasks that follow on the identification of a constituent as a major gifts prospect? Would love to pick your brain on how to set these up. We are an International organization based in Vienna (seforall.org) that just migrated from Podio to Salesforce with no one on the team having a background in salesforce implementation (I have a background as a DBA in RE and working with Advance but no prior experience with salesforce). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi Christine, As a full disclosure, I am a consultant and advise non profits regarding their CRM related needs and goals, and have worked with organizations to set up organizational processes using Salesforce. To provide a brief outline of Salesforce's moves management: if you have a Nonprofit Success Pack, then you have Levels and Engagement Plans. These are the primary building blocks of moves management related workflows. You can set up automation on Levels so as to segment your database according to certain criterion such as total giving or capacity rating etc. and link it with Engagement Plan that allow automating a strategy to take the constituent through planned moves. You can add to it integrations, custom created workflows and integrate other business processes to create a sophisticated system for moves management. Hope this provides you with some starting pointers regarding this. If you have any further questions, then you can post your specific scenarios so that the community might be able to understand your needs better. *Medha Nanal* *Strategic Data & CRM Consulting for Nonprofit & Education Organizations* (Fundraising/Advancement, Programs, Operations, Communications) 650-600-9374 www.topcloudconsult.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Mon, Sep 2, 2019 at 1:14 AM Christine Benally Peranteau < christine.benally@gmail.com> wrote: > Hello!, > > Anyone out there using Salesforce to manage workflows on a moves > management system? Hi We are managing this via a custom prospect management section we built on the contact record combined with opportunities. We identify prospects, assign them, identify interests, affinity, viability, eligibility, etc. and then mark them opportunity eligible. From there we can create the opportunity and put it in discovery. Please feel free to reach out if you would like more information.
