  • 1.  RE and Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Marketing Cloud has great features for setting up DRIP campaigns for prospect nurturing/cultivation etc. RE can be used for donation data and donor touches and donor-specific information. However, it's important that the two systems work in tandem for exchanging data both ways between RE and Marketing Cloud, for this to be a predictable and smooth process. Marketing Cloud is a completely separate cloud (owned by Salesforce) with a separate API, therefore, the integration products that connect to Salesforce CRM may not necessarily connect with Marketing Cloud. In lieu of automatic integration, this is likely to be a very labor-intensive process to keep the data moving between the two systems. Hope this helps. *Medha Nanal* *Strategic Data & CRM Consulting for Nonprofit & Education Organizations* (Fundraising/Advancement, Programs, Operations, Communications) 650-600-9374 www.topcloudconsult.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Mon, Aug 26, 2019 at 11:05 AM Kiser, Kate <kkiser@iuhealth.org> wrote: > Hi, everyone. > > > > Is anyone using both Raiser’s Edge and the Salesforce marketing cloud for > their email client solution? We haven't seen clients who are deeply satisfied with this combination. Most are using some middleware, like Omatic or Frakture, to improve the connection between the systems. Hi, everyone. Is anyone using both Raiser's Edge and the Salesforce marketing cloud for their email client solution? If so, is anyone willing to share about what that integration looks like and how you're making that work (or not)? The Salesforce product is our health system's enterprise resource and our philanthropy communications team is interested in utilizing that resource but I'm curious about how that works with RE. Thanks!
