Why can’t these same donors make cash gifts to you to obtain the credits? I am troubled by the vendor working with the donors - not you working with the donors. Do you even have a relationship with these philanthropists?
If this goes forward I would want to see proof of payment before issuing a receipt. But from a distance, this feels murky.
