  • 1.  Mail Forwarding Service

Good afternoon. My organization recently centralized its Operations Team, including gift processing. We are divided into two major geographical regions. The Bay and the Valley. The gift processing team is in the Valley. All of the mail for our fundraising offices in the Bay is delivered to the local office, including direct mail. While we are working toward all mail, especially direct mail, being delivered to us in the Valley, we are taking baby steps until we get there. Has anyone used the Premium Forwarding Service for Commercial customers to automatically forward mail from one address, or PO box, to another location? If so, I'd be interested to hear your experience and a sense of the price for this kind of service. I have a lot of research to do before I'm ready to float this idea out there. Thank you all! I used it at my previous job and would be happy to chat. Set-up with USPS was rather difficult, but once in place runs rather smoothly. Cost is minimal (pending volume, of course). Teresa P. I would agree setting it up with USPS can be challenging, I would see if your organization already has a USPS contact they can be a great help in streamlining the process.     Claudia Sauers  Senior Development Operations & Analytics Manager     3908 Corey Road, Harrisburg PA 17109     Direct: 717.547.6345   Phone: 717.564.1700 Fax: 717.564.1154     Email: csauers@centralpafoodbank.org     fighting hunger, improving lives, strengthening communities
