Oh sorry I forgot that part in my message! Yes the contact needs to be set up as a relationship and marked primary for that to happen.

I set up a Relationship on that tab and mark them as the "Main Contact". That is what I export from RE and the Addressee is ready to go.
If you need a salutation then you will have to add that manually but at least you have the full Addressee already there to refer to!

I am working in RE Database view and have a question about organization records. Is there a secret that I am unaware of that would enable me to input a contact name for an organization that would appear in the “Addressee” field when I pull a list? Right now when my individuals and organizations are co-mingled in a mailing list, I am doing a lot of manual clean-up to have the names appear before the orgs for mailing.
For example, this is what I have pulling based on how it is entered in RE:

Company Name A
