Hello,
When reporting on funds received from a state university in a different state than yours, how do you categorize the university for your reporting? If it's the university's foundation, we would use the relevant foundation/non-profit categories, but it is from X university itself and it is X State university - not the same state we're in. This is the first time I've encountered this situation. Other recent examples I have are from same-state or different countries entirely, and the policies we have regarding those donors don't quite fit. I'd love to hear how other organizations are categorizing these gifts!
