Thank you. Fern Tyler Advancement Services Manager University Advancement 25800 Carlos Bee Blvd, SA4701 Hayward, CA 94502 (510) 885-2433 Office (510) 885-4691 Fax From: Powell, Chelsea N. Sent: Thursday, July 25, 2019 1:18 PM To: FUNDSVCS@LISTSERV.FUNDSVCS.ORG Subject: [FUNDSVCS] Donor Data Services Hello! Here at UNCW, we are currently using the search tool in AlumniFinder to find missing information about our donors as we come across it in our database. Due to cost, we are considering switching up our vendor. We use their search tool to look for updated addresses, middle names, suffixes, birthdates (MM/DD/YYYY), phone numbers (if available), and deceased date. The birthdate is an important factor for us as we also have a limited subscription with LexisNexis, but it doesn’t give the full date of birth, just month and year. I have seen in the archives a list of vendors but that is a year old. I’m not as interested in hearing about big batch data append services – this would be for one-off searches as needed. I would like to know what your organization uses for one-off searches and what you and your colleagues like or dislike about your current search service.   Thanks so much! Hi, Friends - we also have no budget, but we've had a lot of success with Fast People Search. I've found phone, birthdate, email, relationships, and deceased dates. I actually like it better than Alumni Finder. Happy hunting! I have to second that one! Fast people search has confirmed some of the not so clean information on Alumni Finder and like Fern said It is FREE. Just as good and sometimes more accurate that Alumni Finder. Nancy M. Good morning, Thank you for suggesting that – I checked it out and I’ll have to share it with my team. We do have a small budget so if anyone has any other paid alternatives to AlumniFinder I would love to hear that as well ☺ Thanks!
