    Didn't you already count it when you recorded the expectancy? That is treated much like a pledge and normally counted in full then. The distributions are much like pledge payments and counted when received. Another way of looking at it is that you can't spend what you don't have.     Good morning: Our fiscal year runs July 1 - June 30. In July of 2018, the first month of our fiscal year we received notification (the will) of inclusion in an estate. The notification listed assets and estimated values. We received an initial distribution of the property/assets in December of 2018. On July 23, we received a second distribution, should we record it in FY 2019 or can we count it in FY2020? Do we have discretion in this decision? Thanks, Gary Haugo
