SUNY Potsdam is in the early planning stages of its next comprehensive campaign, having successfully surpassed the goal of its last campaign, Take the Lead, which concluded in 2016 and raised $33.5 million. College Advancement is in the midst of transitioning to a new CRM as we plan to move away from our current CRM, Banner Advancement. As such, I am particularly interested in hiring someone who is adaptable, flexible, and embraces change, as we all know that database conversions totally transform the way we do business! This position is both traditional advancement services work as well as prospect research/management, so it's the best of both worlds for those who like to have a foot in each! The successful candidate would join me and another assistant director performing related work, so we're a small shop that prides ourselves on cross-training and working closely together to provide excellent customer service. The advancement division itself is a close-knit team of about 20, with a lot of folks who have been with the college for many years and have a wealth of institutional knowledge and relationships.
