Subject: [FUNDSVCS] Job titles - reporting leadership
Good Morning,
I am looking for thoughts and feedback on position titles and recruitment in the area of database administration and reporting. I have recently found myself with a vacancy in each of my two positions reporting roles and as we get ready to advertise, I want to do so thoughtfully. I found when recruiting on the last round that Assistant Dir. of Advancement Systems didn't draw the right skillsets but when we went to Senior Reporting Analyst we had a much better pool. I very much appreciate your input and what the titles are in your shop. The brief role outlines are:
Senior position - over the database admin, strategy, analytics, will be instrumental in a new conversion. Would like an individual who is visionary, creates efficiencies, brings leadership and recommendations to the table.
Junior position - will be much more hands on with ad hoc reporting, database integrity reviews, building out our tableau.
My meeting with HR to finalize titles is Wednesday a.m. - thank you in advance for your input.
